Staff celebrated the birth of several baby turtles last week at the golf course. Since June, Jason, a staff member at Sugar Creek, has checked and protected a turtle nest in a sand trap on the course. On September 27, he checked the nest and noticed the turtles were emerging.

The summer youth camp will begin on Monday June 12th and will entail daily instruction on the driving range and putting green followed by on-course playing experience. The weekly schedule runs Monday through Thursday with tee times on the golf course from 9 a.m. till 12 noon.

Unfortunately, due to our ongoing creek renovation project, the golf course remains closed and unplayable. The annual Chili Open has not been played for a few years since Covid forced closure in 2021 and 2022. We look forward to bringing back the annual tradition next year in January
